About
40 Neighbourhood Inspectors from Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken provinces and Osh CPD will gather for a one-day workshop in Osh city.
Facilitated by police trainers and the OSCE Police Reform Programme, delegates will share their experiences of neighbourhood policing. The challenges faced by Neighbourhood Inspectors today in Kyrgyzstan will shape the topics and issues to be included in the vocational curriculum of the planned Community Security Training Centre.
The centre, which will be based at the Osh branch of the Secondary Police School, will serve as a platform for the continuous professional development of the Kyrgyz police in the south of the country, and is expected to host its first training intake in December this year.
