OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek Brings Together Central Asian Youth to Strengthen Climate Resilience in Mountain Regions
From 16 to 22 August 2026, the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, in co-operation with OSCE field operations in Central Asia and national and international partners, has organized the Regional Youth Summer Camp “Climate–Youth–Mountains” in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. The Camp brought together 20 young participants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to strengthen their knowledge and practical skills on climate change, mountain security and sustainable development.

OSCE supports community policing and improved access to police services in Tokmok
Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan, 28 July 2026 - The OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek handed over a Mobile Police Reception to the Tokmok City Department of Internal Affairs, further supporting the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in strengthening community policing, improving access to police services, and enhancing engagement between law enforcement and local communities.

Tenth International Summer School for Young Diplomats Opens on the Shores of Issyk-Kul.
Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan, 27 July 2026 – The Tenth International Summer School for Young Diplomats opened on the shores of Issyk-Kul on 27 July 2026. The Summer School is organized by the Kazy Dikambaev Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek. The programme is moderated by Ambassador Irina Orolbaeva, Professor at the Diplomatic Academy and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic.
