This new revised edition of the book describes 240 species of the animal world in Kyrgyzstan - arachnids, insects, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. It includes photographs and drawings, names in Russian, Latin and Kyrgyz, and describes the main features of species, their habitats and animal biology, population, and various legends, myths and folk beliefs associated with these types of animals. The book is intended for a wide audience including tour guides, tourists, university teachers and schools, students and anyone interested in wildlife Kyrgyzstan. It is not available in English.
