About
A roundtable meeting on human rights and basic freedoms compliance as guarantee against the use of torture and other forms of ill-treatment will be held at the OSCE Field Office in Osh. The event is organized for local lawyers, judges, law enforcement officers, human rights activists as well as representatives from the Ombudsman's office and prosecutor’s office to discuss the current situation in detention facilities and prevention of ill-treatment. The roundtable reflects the OSCE commitment to promoting the rule of law and human rights in the country and ensuring dialogue among all stakeholders.
The event is organized in co-operation with the Osh-based NGONGO
non-governmental organization Human Rights Advocacy Centre.
