About

This training course has been designed for front-line officers from the Kyrgyz border troops who are performing their duties in remote border checkpoints in the southern region.

A total of 10 officers will be trained within five days on the practical use of the Interpol database. The course will be conducted by experts from the Interpol National Central Bureau in Kyrgyzstan.

The OSCE Centre in Bishkek is supporting this activity in the framework of its combating terrorism programme, and a OSCE-Interpol project, which aims to facilitate a real-time connection for border control points in Kyrgyzstan to the Interpol Stolen and Lost Travel Document Database.
