About
The workshop will focus on how to effectively cover election-related issues during and after Kyrgyzstan's presidential election, scheduled for 23 July. The training will also include presentation of a new handbook for journalists on election coverage, published by the two organizations, in Kyrgyz and Russian. It covers such issues as basics of the electoral system, stages of the election, the role of the media in the process of elections, and the rights and responsibilities of the journalists.
