The OSCE Centre in Bishkek jointly with Internews Kyrgyzstan and Development Alternatives, Inc organize series of trainings for regional and Bishkek-based broadcast and print journalists to support their professional development ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for 2015 in Kyrgyzstan.
The training courses will improve professional skills of reporters necessary to deliver inclusive, balanced and transparent coverage of the election process, offering a diversity of opinions, perspectives, and analysis. The sessions will cover principles of objective, balanced and inclusive reporting; media ethics frameworks; practical skills of new election coverage formats: interviewing, talk show, pieces for internet-based news agencies.
