About

The head of the Police Matters Programme of the OSCE Centre in Bishkek, Victor Sotchi, will hand over 520 Area Information Passports (Registers) for Juvenile delinquency inspectors of the Kyrgyzstan’s Interior Ministry.

The passports will contain detailed information on the area of inspectors’ responsibility and serve as an institutional memory-building mechanism aiming at enhancing the capacity of the Kyrgyz police. Taking into account a high personnel turnover rate in the job, the passports will be especially useful for newly assigned inspectors.

They will further help the inspectors in addressing issues raised as a result of the survey on identifying the juvenile delinquency problems at schools. The survey was carried out in co-operation with the Interior Ministry and Ministry of Social Development.
