About
An asylum centre for abused women will be opened on 6 March 2014 in Aravan district, Osh province, southern Kyrgyzstan. The project was implemented jointly by the Aravan district authorities who provided premises for the asylum centre and the OSCE Centre in Bishkek’s Police Reform Programme and Community Security Initiative which renovated the rooms and purchased furniture.
