These simulation exercises are aimed at improving peace ambassadors’ ability to identify potential sources of conflict and to handle conflicts, when they do arise, at the initial stage.
The scenarios for the simulation exercises were tailored according to the specifics of each district, i.e., dealing with existing problems and potential sources of conflicts.
Previous exercises have been conducted in the city of Jalal-Abad; the Suzak, Bazar-Korgon, Nooken, Toktogul and Aksyi districts; and in the towns of in Mailuu-Suu, Kara-Kul and Tash-Komur.
