About
This event marks the end of a three-month journalism school for young reporters who have been trained by the non-governmental organization and news agency Kloop Media. Out of 25 students, eight come from Kyrgyzstan’s provinces and their participation and accommodation was financially supported by the OSCE Centre in Bishkek.
During the summer school the young reporters worked through 5 modules which included ethical standards and legislation. During the course around 25 articles by the trainees were published each month. Students were taught core journalistic standards, such as balance in exposing views, impartiality, and using multiple and authentic sources.
Local editorial offices and other media actors will be invited to the ceremony.
