About
The regional meeting of members of the Womens' Initiative Group will take place in Osh on 3 August 2011, organized as part of a project on promoting women’s potential as conflict prevention and grassroots reconciliation agents in the south of Kyrgyzstan. The event will jointly be held with local and provincial state authorities, public healthcare, education and law enforcement bodies to elaborate and develop mechanisms of co-operation in order to enhance women’s initiatives aimed at community-based conflict prevention, reconciliation and support to their communities.
