Topics for discussion include global competition to attract foreign direct investment and its role in fostering sustainable growth and development; strategies and policies that have worked (or not worked) to support investment promotion in OECD and non-OECD economies; and the role of investment promotion agencies and special economic zones.
The meeting will build on two earlier events in Astana on 17 September and Bishkek on 3-4 December 2009.
