The OSCE Centre in Bishkek, the United Nations Development Programme and Westminster Foundation for Democracy support a three-day orientation seminar for members of the Kyrgyz Parliament. The event is initiated by the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyzstan.
International and national experts, representatives of international organizations, former national MPs and current parliamentary staff will review the basics of parliamentarianism and parliamentary law, parliamentary functions and structure, rules and procedures, vision and strategy, as well as other topics.
Following the parliamentary elections on 4 October 2015, ther are more than 80 new members of the Kyrgyz Parliament of the VI convocation.
