The OSCE Centre in Bishkek supports the Regional Eco-Journalism Festival in Osh on October 15-16, 2015.
The aim of the festival is is to support and promote environmental journalism in the Fergana Valley, as well as raising public awareness of environmental issues and environmental management in the context of disaster risk management.
The OSCE Centre in Bishkek and Arhus Centres of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan conducted a competition among media outlets and TV/Radio companies of these two countries to identify the best works with environmental focus “Raising awareness about the good practices of disaster risk management in the border areas of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan."
